Who?

I am Adam Eddy, the sole proprietor of Eddycrest Design & Build. I am graduate of Ryerson University with a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. I had always been an avid woodworker and handyman. My building background stems from childhood, where at a very young age my brothers, cousins and I would embark on adventures to our woodlot and build tree forts with what ever materials we could scrounge up. Then by late elementary school our family invested in woodworking equipment that brought our craft from the forest to the shop where we actively made projects for friends, family and our own home. Every summer since I was 15 right through University, I worked as a labourer or carpenter doing; Demolition, Barn Building, Residential Framing and lastly as a Concrete Forms Carpenter. Every summer job gave numerous skills that developed me into a builder. Those skills coupled with my Industrial Engineering has led to many innovative and logical designs.

What?

Eddycrest Design & Build is an interpersonal company that specializes in Sewing/Quilting furniture. We offer sewing products that enhance your sewing experience through ideal ergonomics and practical storage. To advance your craft further, we reccommend the custom experience. Where?

Located just outside of Woodstock, Ontario, our woodworking projects are built and finished (paint/stain/wax) out of our home-based workshop that features all the necessities of a modern work shop combined with the manufacturing savvy offered by Industrial Engineering.

When?

We strive to get you your project to you as quickly as possible. Naturally the length of time for projects varies according to the scale and complexity. Accompanied with your preliminary quote, we will provide you with an estimate of how long you will have to wait to receive your product. I will also notify you at key milestones of the project to ensure you that your new design is coming to life. The standard sewing and cutting tables are ready in approximately 3-4 weeks from the order.

How to have custom work done?

1. Contact - you contact us and we arrange a meeting for a free consultation
2. Meet - from the meeting, we discuss a design including; colour, function/purpose, materials and measurements are made
3. Quote - I provide a quote either remotely or in person at your request. The quote includes an estimate of labour and material costs, concept drawing, as well as a rough timeline outlining the key steps of the project.
4. Acceptance - once you are happy with the design, I begin working and update you according to the progress of the project
5. Delivery/Payment - To your door delivery and installation of the product. Payment for your new treasure. (Down payment may be required to use for materials)
6. Enjoy your design.
