Who?

I am Adam Eddy, the sole proprietor of Eddycrest Design & Build, a graduate of Ryerson University with a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. Woodworking has always been a passion of mine. Upon graduation, I felt the need to partner my degree with my woodworking passion by creating quality Smart designs with the fundamental principles of efficiency throughout the customer experience. Today Eddycrest has evolved to an organization that conceptializes the customer's vision to reality with great customer satisfaction and timely service.

What?

Eddycrest Design & Build is an interpersonal company that specializes in Sewing/Quilting furniture. We offer sewing products that enhance your sewing experience through ideal ergonomics and practical storage. To advance your craft further, we reccommend the custom experience. Take some photos and measurements of your room and schedule an appointment to have a free consultation to see the potential that we can create in your space.

Where?

Located just outside of Woodstock, Ontario, our furniture is built and finished out of our workshop. Our Sewing furniture is on Display at Country Patchworks and orders can also be placed there as well. Please let us know where you are and we can advise you on our shipping policies to your region.

When?

We strive to get you your project to you as quickly as possible. Naturally the length of time for projects varies according to the scale and complexity. Accompanied with your preliminary quote, we will provide you with an estimate for the lead time of your piece. For larger projects, I will also notify you at key milestones of the project to ensure you that your new design is coming to life. The standard sewing and cutting tables are ready in approximately 3-4 weeks from order.

How to have custom work done?

  1. Contact Us- you contact us and we arrange a meeting for a free consultation
  2. Meet - from the meeting, we discuss a design including; colour, function/purpose, materials and measurements are made
  3. Quote - I provide a quote either remotely or in person at your request. The quote includes an estimate of labour and material costs, concept drawing, as well as a rough timeline outlining the key steps of the project.
  4. Acceptance - once you are happy with the design, I begin working and update you according to the progress of the project
  5. Delivery/Payment - To your door delivery and installation of the product. Payment for your new treasure. (Down payment may be required to use for materials, Delivery is extra)
  6. Enjoy your design.

The furnitrue can be viewed in person at Country Patchworks (please contact us or Country Patchworks to ensure the furnitrue is on display).
